We've been reading about all the devastation wreaked by Irene. It makes me feel guilty to be so far away and having so much fun. I hope everyone and everyone's family is doing well. It looks like we might have a hard time coming back right now, so I guess it's a good thing we won't be headed east again for a few more days. Take care! t & p

ReplyDeleteYeah! We were without power for two days! Lucky all my stuff was charged enough to last. Lost all my meals in the fridge and freezer tho. Could have been worse. No property damage here but alot of my neighbors got hit bad with downed trees. And a few days later a TORNADOE touched down in Amsterdam!! Dirk had to go to Buffallo a couple days ago and he said he could see the path of it!
ReplyDeleteI can't complain though! I'm used to challenges but I never got it as bad as most folks right around me, and I have really cool neighbors that look in on me when Boats is out.
